ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Joe’s past work history involves working and running multiple restaurants and bars in Chicago & Chicagoland areas. Joe has worked with BOKA Restaurant Group under Executive Chef Lee Wolen at Somerset & Devereaux, 16 On Center running Lou’s Backyard & award winning best bar in Chicago MONEYGUN by Esquire as the Beverage Director. Joe currently oversees operations & beverage at A to Z Hospitality concepts Testaccio, listed by Infatuation amongst best Italian restaurants in Chicago, and Soif, a French Parisian wine bar, both holding wine spectator awards for it’s wine lists. Looking for a fresh change of scenery, Joe relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina. Now working for Kindred Studio’s namesake restaurant Kindred, located in the quaint small college town of Davidson, NC. Kindred is a nationally recognized restaurant heralded as a NY Times 50 best restaurant in the country in 2021. Joe is also a certified Italian Wine Scholar.
