Olive Oil Gin Sour
The Olive Oil Gin Sour is a perfect Spring sipper focusing on two main ingredients in Italian cooking.
You can’t have Italian cuisine without starting with a little olive oil. This green gold liquid adds roundness along with the frothy texture of the egg white. Rosemary is utilized in a syrup to add freshness & aromatics to a great starter cocktail while the sun is still out.
Olive Oil Gin Sour
2 oz Gin
.75 oz Rosemary syrup
.75 oz Lemon juice
.25 oz Olive Oil
1 Egg White
Build in a shaker tin, add all ingredients and dry shake. After dry shaking, add ice, shake and double strain into a coupe. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig & an olive oil dropper garnish the way you would with bitters for a sour cocktail.
